讲座内容：

 Behavioral ethics literature mainly focuses on the unethical behavior undertaken to benefit the self, implicitly assuming that unethical behaviors are driven by self-interest. However, as business environments become more competitive, employees often need to help their employing organization succeed disregard of societal moral standard and the integrity of their moral self. For example, many managers and employees of Volkswagen participated the deployment of gas cheating device and tampered with 11 million vehicle emission systems so as to manipulate the market (Ewing, 2017; Thompson, 2016). This phenomenon is now known as unethical pro-organizational behavior (UPB). In this seminar, I will use a few studies as examples to examine how UPB occurs in the workplace so as to demonstrate the moral downside of prosocial motives.

主讲人介绍：

陈默，现任中国科学技术大学特任副教授，在上海交通大学安泰经济与管理学院获得管理学博士学位，美国罗格斯大学联合培养博士。研究领域为组织行为学，研究兴趣主要围绕道德决策，道德行为，和微观视角的企业社会责任等。其论文发表在Journal of Applied Psychology,《心理学报》等期刊上。
